EGR Extrusion is proud to announce the purchase and installation of its third manufacturing line at it’s Wacol plant. This third and latest line is a state of the art, Plastic Profiled Extruder, engineered by the worlds leading Extrusion company for specifically producing profiled plastic sheet, such as EGR's new POLYSUN™ and ZENOLITE™ ranges.

The investment into this extrusion line is a further step in EGR's growth and ongoing diversification of manufacturing capabilities. “We are world leaders in the manufacture of various plastic sheeting for automotive, fabrication, signage and the highly technical LCD electrical markets, and are now able to move into supplying quality products into the large building and construction markets” Says Iain Whyley Sales and Marketing Manager for EGR Extrusion.

Australia has always been known for its outdoor lifestyle and as a result has one of the largest markets in the world for transparent profiled roofing materials. Therefore a move into supplying products like POLYSUN ™ for this market was a logical decision for EGR. The third line will establish EGR Extrusion as one of the largest extrusion companies, in both volume and range of products, in the southern hemisphere.

POLYSUN™ will initially be available in three profiles, standard Corrugated, stylish Greca and the more commercial Trimdeck. There will be a large range of colours that meet the demands and trends of the market.

In addition to supplying the local Australian and New Zealand markets, the POLYSUN™ range will be released internationally, via EGR's already established global network.
